This is a painting of one of my favorite places to fish in Yellowstone National park.Painting is on a natural wood round with acrylics. Fish are hand sculpted out of clay, painted, glazed and fired 3 times then accented with 22k gold. It is hangs with leather string.

This is a one of a kind, handmade and painted ceramic art. The process to making ceramics not only takes time but is quite a breathtaking process!

1) The clay is hand sculpted and then let dry for a couple of days to dry out all of the moisture
2) Bisque fired at approximately 1800 degrees F. This hardens the clay making it hard and durable
3) The glazing is where the real enchantment happens. This is where colors are added giving the clay it's character. Then it is fired again at a higher temperature.

It comes carefully and lovingly packaged with a gift box ready gifting!
